Jan 30 weird celebrations

Hate listening to your voice mail because you're never sure what kind of senseless information a person will leave? National Inane Answering Message Day pays tribute to all those stupid messages people leave. And in some cases, I think you could also celebrate the funny messages you have to endure when you call someone.

National Write to Congress Day encourages U.S. citizens to write those individuals who represent the masses. This is a good way to teach children - and even some adults - the importance of government and representation of the people, by the people, for the people.

Croissant Day celebrates the fluffy, flaky deliciousness of the French roll also known as a crescent. I'll have mine with scrambled eggs and bacon, please.

Thermos Bottle Day. I'm assuming this date coincides with the invention of the Thermos. I couldn't verify that, but it's a good guess.
