Everyday life in the sandhills of Nebraska: travel, writing, Husker football, Husker volleyball, and farming. Living in the middle of nowhere and loving every minute of it.

This is MOM and I am reading Disguise by Hugo Hamilton. Pg 56 and 5th line reads "Gregor wore a cashmere coat, which he had picked up for nothing but which was far too small for him and his detective hat.
About a man who was adopted by a mother and father, who had lost their son, during W W II. He was just picked up along the road and taken in by this Jewish family and how he is trying to unlock some of the secrets of his past. He was Jewish and raised by the German family under the same name etc. as their son who was killed.
